A DAY IN THE COUNTRYSIDE
Estancia El Ombú de Areco is an excellent option to enjoy an authentic day in Buenos Aires countryside. At El Ombú you can spend the day in full contact with nature and with the customs and typical food of the Argentine countryside. This option is ideal for taking a break, celebrating a birthday or having a New Year’s Eve party in a different, relaxed and fun environment!
Suggested schedule:
11.00 Welcome snack: empanadas and drinks (wine, beer, soda, water or juice)
11.30 to 13.30 Horseback or carriage rides that take you around the property’s 300 hectares, where you can see a typical Argentine estancia in action. Cows, sheep, horses and birds will all be seen, including some of planted fields.
13.30 Lunch: “Asado criollo” with a variety of salads, drinks, dessert and coffee
15.00 Live music and folk dance
15.30 Equestrian demonstrations (“doma india” or “tropilla”)
16.00 to 17.30 Free time. You can enjoy all the facilities: swimming pools, bicycles, soccer and volleyball courts, pool table, ping pong, table soccer, sun loungers and more.
17.30 Snack: cupcakes, variety of homemade cakes and puddings with coffee, tea, mate, soda or juice.
